One evening, I decided to embark on a self-guided tour of some of the best secret bars near the Spire building. I began my night at Williams & Graham, a 1920s-style speakeasy hidden behind a bookshelf. The moment I stepped through the concealed entrance, I was transported to a bygone era, complete with dim lighting and expertly crafted cocktails.
Walking Directions from Spire:
Head east on 15th Street toward Larimer Street.
Turn left onto Larimer Street
Continue for about 0.2 miles; the bar will be on your right at 3160 Tejon Street.
Next, I ventured to Run For The Roses, an underground bar known for its swanky atmosphere and creative cocktails. The entrance is discreet, marked only by a small sign, adding to its allure.

Exit Williams & Graham and head south on Tejon Street.
Turn left onto 33rd Street.
The bar is located at 2615 Larimer Street, just a short walk away.
I then made my way to Union Lodge No.1, a bar that, while not strictly a speakeasy, offers 19th-century-inspired craft cocktails in a glamorous setting. The interior was elegant, and the drinks were meticulously prepared.

Head west on 17th Street toward Wynkoop Street.
Turn left onto Wynkoop Street.
Continue for about 0.2 miles; the bar will be on your left at 1543 Champa Street.
A hidden gem, Ghost Donkey focuses on creative Mexican cocktails and delectable nachos. The unmarked entrance added to the excitement, and the vibrant interior was a pleasant surprise.
